EDN Communication USA opens Customer Contact Center and Back-Office Operations partnering with AT&T as 1st client in DeKalb County’s City of Dunwoody, Creating over 200+ New Jobs

 

EDN Communication – Customer Contact Centers, President and CEO Jerome Edmondson and Georgia Department of Labor host a job fair to hire over 200 employees at the Newly Renovated EDN Communication Call Center. DeKalb County CEO, Lee May, Dunwoody Mayor Mike Davis, EDN’s  first client AT&T and other, community, state and local officials will greet over 500-700 applicants that are expected to attend the Saturday, June 7th 1pm – 5pm Job Fair.


Dunwoody, GA – June 7, 2014 – For anyone interested in a job and global opportunities in the call center business, the EDN Communication – Customer Contact Centers and Department of Labor (DOL) will host a job fair at 4470 N. Shallowford Rd., Dunwoody GA. EDN Communication spent over $1 million to renovate a long-vacant medical building in Dunwoody, Georgia and built a Premier contact center and back-office processing facility that will create a projected 200+ new jobs.

In 2012, EDN Communication named Jerome Edmondson as Majority share holder and President of its US Operations as a division of EDN Mexico, Government Contracting Group who manages all 52 Mexico Consulate offices in the US for all US Mexican nationals specializing in government contracting, back-office processing services, customer service, billing, tech and sales campaigns.

EDN Communication will also revitalize a 5 acre wooded area attached to its current renovated contact center for the future growth of EDN Communication and create a work, live and play atmosphere for its EDN Communication employees, executives and community that mirrors the Georgetown/North Shallowford vision to enhance the area’s identity, character, and appearance as a gateway in the City. AIG and Georgia power have agreed to partner with EDN Communication to help us achieve our growth plan.

 

The DOL, state and local governments have shown outstanding support for EDN Communication’s expansion by providing free job fairs, HR and Staffing support, superior city services support and leadership by helping EDN Communication secure its current location in the Georgetown/North Shallowford area that will be redeveloped into a pedestrian and bicycle-oriented activity center with medium scaled intensity of activity. Furthermore, in an effort to facilitate the hiring process, The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will team with EDN Communication USA Customer Contact Centers to host an employment hiring event Saturday, June 7, in Dunwoody. The event will be held from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at 4470 N. Shallowford Road. The company is currently looking for applicants for the position of contact center agent. When fully operational, the company plans to staff up to 200 employees that will stretch beyond EDN Communication USA current back-office processing positions and offer customer service, sales, and technical support positions that will help customers across a variety of communication channels including phone, chat, email, and social media.
